The 8166A Lightwave Multichannel System Mainframe can be easily integrated into test environments by using plug and play drivers over GPIB or by using configurable hardware input and output trigger ports

All modules of the 8163A Lightwave Multimeter family (not included) can be used in any combination in the unit

The unit has a monochrome graphical display with 190 x 300 points visible

The display resolution is 0.0001 dB/dBm, 0.01 pW to 10 pW (depending on the power range), up to 6 1/2 digits (user definable)

The unit can have up to 17 modules
