Spectrum Analyzer 20Hz-50GHz, -150 to +30dBm, RBW 1Hz-50MHz, TFT color display, no options
The R&S FSU50 is a high performance spectrum analyzer up to 50 GHz with outstanding performance in phase noise, dynamic range and measurement accuracy that meets any challenge in RF analysis.
The frequency range is expandable up to 100 GHz by connecting the External Mixers R&S FS-Z60/75/90/110. If you use mixers from other manufacturers, the R&S FSU50 supports measurements up to 1.1 THz. The R&S FSU50 can also run all software options from the R&S FSU family.

Options:
B21 = LO/IF -interfaces for external mixer:
Easy-to-use software preselector that identifies and suppresses unwanted signals arising from image frequency response or reception with a harmonic one set
Supports two- and three-port mixers that can operate with an IF of 404.4 MHz and an LO frequency range from 7 GHz to 15.5 GHz
Maximum harmonic number that can be selected: n = 66 (or 1.022 THz)
High LO frequency range, allowing low harmonic numbers to be used; fewer unwanted products are created and the phase noise remains lower
K40 = Application Firmware for phase noise measurements:
Application Firmware R&S FS-K40 adds phase noise measurement capability to the R&S FSU and R&S FSP spectrum analyzers and the R&S FSQ signal analyzer and enables them to operate as signal source analyzers.
K40 makes the phase noise measurement option part of the analyzer firmware and can be started merely by pressing a hotkey.
All functions can be operated manually or programmed via GPIB.
The Windows XP operating system is required.
